I have been a practicing therapist since 1988 working for many years in a community mental health center and have also been in private practice for over twenty years. I treat people as I would like to be treated. I believe that a relationship between therapist and client needs to be one of trust and honesty where the client feels safe to share their feelings so they can successfully work though painful situations, develop coping skills and feel heard and supported. I am experienced in working with clients from age 20 years and up. I see clients in person and through telehealth video sessions.
I have experience working with clients dealing with the following issues; depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis treatment (Co-occurring substance use and mental health issues), bipolar Illness, marital and couple’s problems, adjustment disorders, grief, stress and problems coping with difficult situations and emotional issues, and issues of low self-esteem.
