Amy is a licensed therapist who works with adults (18+) who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, or challenges in their relationships. She uses a combination of clinical approaches, including attachment-based therapy, strengths-based work, and cognitive-behavioral strategies (CBT), to help people who feel stuck, find themselves repeating the same patterns, or who are simply trying to understand why they feel the way they do. Her style is especially helpful for those who want to make a change but aren’t sure where to start.
Amy takes a personalized and supportive approach to therapy, focusing on each person’s unique story and inner strengths. She helps clients explore how past experiences, especially early relationships, may still be shaping how they respond to stress, express emotions, or connect with others today. At the same time, she helps people identify the values, skills, and tools they have already used to get through hard times and builds on those with practical strategies to boost confidence, motivation, and a stronger sense of control in life.
Amy believes therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong” with you. It is about creating a space where you can feel safe, accepted, and empowered to grow into the person you want to be, in a way that feels right for you.
