I graduated from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, School of Social Work where I received my Master’s in Social Work and utilize a person-centered approach with my clients, meaning your experience is tailored to who you are. I desire to create a non-judgmental space for clients to realize their ability to heal, so that I can experience their journey with them in that process. I believe people are the experts in their own lives and believe in collaboration for them to achieve their mental health goals.
I use a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Framework, beginning with understanding the automatic thoughts of my clients. I also incorporate a Mindfulness framework to help my clients learn the messages their bodies may be sending and how to understand and regulate those messages.
My work experience has spanned from teens, adults, and families, and have worked closely with immigrants, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I also have training around substance use disorders, and intimate partner violence, as well as with a range of complex mental health challenges from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD.
I am currently welcoming new clients, ages 13+.
