Amy Schwartzbaum is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) practicing psychiatry since 2017. Prior to becoming a medical provider, she completed multiple years as a researcher for Johns Hopkins University Neurosciences in Baltimore, MD. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University. She is a certified integrative psychiatry practitioner having completed her Fellowship at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Boulder, Colorado in 2023. She specializes in psychopharmacology and medication management but utilizes a holistic approach when treating mental health which focus on the body, the mind, as well as lifestyle. Her interests include: the brain-gut health connection, nutritional psychiatry, herbal supplementation and nutraceuticals, chronic inflammation, genomics testing, and psychedelic medicine. She strives to remove any stigma surrounding mental healthcare by creating a safe space for you to heal without judgement.
